Hi Folks,
Apologies as I am sure there are answers for this elsewhere however I have not achieved exactly what I am looking for so far.
I would like to be able to prevent zoom on scroll but only for specific drawings, I have seen that it is possible to do so by changing the layout type but this will also mean that the drawings need to be reconfigured which would be a large job.
Does anyone know of a page level (or similar) command that could be applied to a visio drawing to prevent zoom on scroll and if not are there any other solutions that I should be using?
Many thanks
Oliver
Hi Oliver,
Into the Visio page, you can add an option 'DisableZoom' if you do not want users to be able to zoom in or out.
More information also on following link.
Thank you, this seems to have solved it – had tried this option but it turns out that I had been testing on a touch screen and pinch to zoom is unaffected by this option (as far as I can tell) however for the end users there will be no touch screen so this is solved. Many thanks
Is this the option that you are looking for: Overview of page and shape options | DataMiner Docs
Thank you for such a quick response by the way, really appreciated 🙂 got to an answer between your and Leanders comment. Cheers!
Glad to assist, happy creating! PS: you can also consider joining the new DataMiner DevOps Professionals program we just launched. PS: there is also an option ‘NoAutoScale’ in case you would like to force the zoom level to 100% and then scroll bars will appear when needed.
