Hello everyone,
I am facing a problem with a DMS that is run across two Domains.
Both "sides" have some local Users and Groups, sometimes with the same name, that can not be shared with the other.
Sync of these fails because of missing Groups or wrong Passwords, etc. So everything is fine as far as the customer is concerned.
The only problem they have is the "spam" of Notifications about this.
Is there a way to deactivate the Notifications or disable Sync of specific Users and Groups?
Best Regards,
Robert
P.S.: Not a fan of the approach of two different domains under the same DMS cluster – I'll always recommend against it, given the sync problems this can produce – but if a solution is found I'll share the steps applied.
Hello,
There is no option to disable user or group syncing.
The imported or created users imported in the DMA will always be attempted to be synced to the clustered DMA's in the DMS.

Davy
Sounds similar to an issue faced myself – bust still looking for a permanent fix – notices can be cleared with a script but this will just cover up this problem and possibly other sync issues.
What will be key is that local users are defined in compliance with both the policies for both domains (pw complexity, history, … ) and this might take some time – ideally, make sure offline & online DMAs are aligned (at times I've seen the online DMA complaining it could not sync a user over its own offline twin).
What I don't know is how the DMA from domain A will handle domain users from domain B ~ generally speaking, when adding domain users, this must be done pointing Cube to a DMA of the specific domain.
