Hi
Recently installed Dataminer 10.1 on a server and notice that upon reboot Dataminer is not automatically started except for a few processes. Any ideas why it doesn't?
We're using a demo license but I doubt that has anything to do with the startup.
We're about to replace an old server, so we took a "Full backup without database" from the old to the new server. The restore to the new server also replaced the user database on the new server so that the installation admin account dissapeared from the new DMA. I don't know if that has something to do with DMA not starting automatically. Unfortunately we didn't check if it worked before restoring from the old server.
Starting it manually by Taskbar Utility works fine.
Hi Roger
for Dataminer to start up automatically after a Windows restart, you need to check if the Dataminer services are set to "Automatic (delayed start)"
As is mentioned in this Doc at the end of the note section:
Starting or stopping a DMA in DataMiner Cube | DataMiner Docs
Totally missed that one. It did the trick to set SLDataMiner to Automatic (delayed start). Have not needed to do this on any other installation before on Windows 2016. This was on a Windows 2019.
