In general, how does DataMiner licensing work? What information do we need to provide to Skyline and how is the cost calculated?
Adding to the above, what we - as a minimum - need to make a DataMiner quotation is the following:
BoM (Bill of Material) as detailed as possible. This means a list, an inventory, of all the data sources (devices, systems, software applications, etc.) that DataMiner has to interface with in order to manage the network. The list should contain the brand, the model and the quantity of each item.
To note that, for software-based data sources, integrations via multiple connections are required to achieve a full-stack monitoring, this starts with the underlying hardware, following the virtual machines, operating systems, microservices plus the actual application on top.
For SRM (Service and Resource Management) related projects (E2E service monitoring or E2E service lifecycle orchestration), we will at least need an indication of the number of concurrent active bookings.
An overview of how DataMiner licensing looks like, can be found at https://community.dataminer.services/licensing/

Thanks dear.
