For a DataMiner installation Visual C++ redistributable 2015 is required, however this conflicts with Visual C++ redistributable 2017 which is already installed.
Will the 2017 version also work, or should we remove it and install the 2015 version?

From VC++ 2015 onwards, there should be a binary compatibility between these redistributables, see https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/cpp/porting/binary-compat-2015-2017?view=vs-2019 for more information. This means that the 2017 version should technically work as well.
