Hi Community,

Loved the latest feature on Dataminer Cube to be able to add shortcuts on the surveyors bar:

I think i’m limited to 4 pinned apps.

Is it possible to have more than 4 shortcuts / pinned apps ?

Hi David, nice to hear you like the new feature.

As you found out, it is indeed limited to 4 pinned items at the moment. We plan to remove this restriction in a future version, as soon as we have worked out some technical issues when vertical space becomes limited.

Not really an answer to your question – but I kind of figured that out just recently and thought it was interesting > if you use the workspaces (4 bullets in your header that allow you to shift between workspaces), then you have different pinned items on the nav rail for each workspace.  I made one with my favorite developer stuff (automation, protocols, etc.) and one with my favorite operational stuff (e.g. my booking app, my IDP app, etc.).   Just FYI in case it helps for your workflows and ways of using DataMiner.

Thanks for the suggestion.

Has a SRM developer there are 5 things that i want to focus:
Automation, Resources, Services, Profiles and the Booking Manager app.

If i can at least have 5 pinned apps i’m already satisfied. I would allow me to not constantly change from surveyor to apps

Totally makes sense to me 🙂
