When the main server is connected to the cloud (DMA), must the Nodes (DMP’s) also be connected to the cloud to send Alarm information to the server. Note that this is for if we want to disconnect the VSAT and only run hybrid cloud.

The communication between DMPs (probes) and a DMS (a central, main cluster) is independent of a cloud connection to dataminer.services. So, it is perfectly possible to only connect your DMS to dataminer.services and leverage the cloud features in your DMS. At that point, the DMPs won’t be cloud connected and won’t be able to leverage the cloud features, but probes will still report their data to the DMS. And the DMS probably contains the most important data anyhow, so only connected that one to the cloud is possibility.
