What does ‘Refused’ mean for agent status ?

The refused state means that the dataminer is actively refusing incoming connections. It should clear automatically once the mentioned time has passed.

This can happen when the agent is

  • Has had too many connections in the last hours as defined in MaxAgentConnectsPerHour setting
  • Is dropping events due to the threshold in the QueuedStackOverflow being exceeded.

The reason should be logged in SLNet.

The thresholds described can be viewed using Client Test tool -> Advanced -> Options -> SLNet Options. In the dropdown select the setting and you will see the value for each dma.

Using the Client Test Tool -> Info ->DataminerInfo you can clear the refusal state if the underlying issue is resolved.
