We recently migrated the dataminer environment from a physical to a virtual server. Getting this error.

DataMiner licensing is based on your hardware, so that means you'll have to request a new license by contacting dataminer.licensing@skyline.be.

It depends on the type of license you have, in this scenario, it’s best to email the ‘request.lic’ file which you can find in the ‘C:Skyline DataMiner’ directory to dataminer.licensing@skyline.be. They will be able to further assist you.

What is the license based on? MAC address, volume id, CPU count?
