Database problem in Dataminer

Solved402 views21st December 2023

Hello, everyone,

I am currently having this recurring issue in dataminer regarding the database on the DMA, causing items that are associated with this DMA to have a problem. Has this case happened to anyone and been able to solve it?

Greetings!

This error indicates that something went wrong during the start of this element to retrieve the saved parameters from the DB. If the DB is unavailable during a restart of an element this might happen, if your DB is unavailable during a DM restart you might also see this, but then I would expect to see it for more elements hosted on that DMA. If your DB is now available again, you can restart the element to resolve the issue (to reload the saved parameters).

If the issue persists, it could be that some data got corrupted for this element. I would highly recommend contacting Techsupport if this is the case. You can verify if the data is corrupted by retrieving the data manual from DB and see if you also get an error. You can further narrow down which parameters caused this, by filtering down on p > x and p < x. To resolve it you could delete the data that is corrupted, but would be good to figure out in this case why it got corrupted.
