I want to create a dashboard showing the total license count and the utilised licenses per DMA. Is that possible in the Dashboard app? If yes, how can I do that?
Hi Jeyaram,
I believe there is already a similar question:
Dashboard showing DMA active elements and licenses?
Hope it helps.
Hi Jeyaram,
Can you further elaborate? are you not able to open the link?
Yes, I see "404 page went missing".
Hi Jeyaram,
I understand that you are able to see the answer, but not the links available in the answer. Below the updated links in Jarno's answer:
– Get ad hoc data (https://docs.dataminer.services/dataminer/Functions/Dashboards_and_Low_Code_Apps/GQI/Query_Data_Sources/Get_ad_hoc_data.html)
– GQI DMS: (https://docs.dataminer.services/develop/devguide/GQI_Extensions/API_Reference/GQIDMS.html)
– Building a GQI data source that retrieves data from a DMS (https://docs.dataminer.services/develop/devguide/GQI_Extensions/Ad_hoc_data/Ad_hoc_Tutorials_Interact_With_DMS.html?tabs=step-2-class-librarystep-3-class-library)
Hope it helps.
We created a GQI AdHoc script to retrieve the total and currently used licenses, along with SRM and expiry dates. The dashboard runs the script and displays all our DMAs and licenses. This works well on our Swarming DMS for showing what we are using where, and also our Staging DMS where we have expiring licenses.
Jarno's answer on Dashboard showing DMA active elements and licenses? - DataMiner Dojo pointed us in the right direction.
Looks like this page went missing.
