Cube Check For Updates – Proxy authentication required

Hi,

I've configured the web proxy on the machine running cube, when I use the check for updates option, Cube gives a DCP connection failure. Checking the cube logs shows the error was "407 - Proxy authentication required"

How do I pass my credentials into cube so it can authenticate with the proxy?

Hi Chris,

There is currently no support for a proxy that requires explicit authentication. If the proxy allows configuration with an allow-list that requires no authentication, the following URL could be added to access online updates of protocols and DataMiner software upgrade packages:
https://dcpapi.skyline.be/*

The following URLs could be added to enable online updates of Cube itself:
https://api.dataminer.services/api/client-version-check/*
https://dataminer.services/install/*
