Hi Dojo,
currently we are trying to monitor the "Physical Ports" of a Nimbra node with DataMiner (10.5.0), without success. The table is available in the related element page, but not in the alarm template (see screenshots below).
Although I checked everything I could in the element, in the alarm template and in the connector xml, I wasn’t able to figure out the problem.
Maybe I’m missing something. Any suggestions? Can anyone help?
Thanks
Jörg

Hi Jorg,
Which specific parameters/column parameter do you want to monitor? All the parameters that are shown in the alarm template screenshot you shared are available for monitoring. You need to select the parameter you want and fill in the thresholds.

If you are looking for a parameter that is not listed in the above screenshot, get in touch with your Skyline contact and the necessary changes can be done to the connector to make the parameter available for monitoring.
Hi Jorg,
Indeed the the column parameters for the Interfaces table are not available for alarming/monitoring. So, as I indicated in the response, reach out to your Skyline contact to check the possibility of monitoring for those parameters.
Hi Fenta, thanks a lot for your quick response.
Actually, we are kind of familiar with selecting parameters/columns for monitoring. However, here we have a different issue, I think: The table we would like to monitor is "Physical Ports – *Interfaces*", as indicated in my first screenshot.
In the Alarm Template, from the Physical Ports page, this whole table is not available. Only the table "10G Physical Trunks Ports" is available, but that's not what we need.
Anyway, we learn from your answer that we'll obviously have to contact one of our Skyline contacts in order to get this table monitored, i.e. offered in the alarm template.
Best Regards – Jörg
