ClusterState.xml and ClusterInfo.xml, what’s the purpose of these files?

In Dataminer 10.0 we have the new files:
"C:\Skyline DataMiner\ClusterState.xml" and "C:\Skyline DataMiner\ClusterInfo.xml"

How are these used?
Are they editable files, for instance, to change the cluster configuration?

edited: in 9.6 the files are already there.

  • ClusterInfo.xml defines the ranges of view ids that every agent in the cluster can use to create new views in views.xml
  • ClusterState.xml is used by the SLDataGateway process as a cache of which agents are in the cluster along with their id and last known state. As far as I see, it will be recreated when missing.
