Cisco Meraki – Request for Information

I need help connecting DataMiner to the Cisco Meraki cloud controller.

I have deployed the connector available: CISCO Meraki | DataMiner Docs

Although it is a simple SNMP connector, it’s giving me TIMEOUT errors. I noticed the latest version is from 2018.

I’d appreciate it if someone could share any piece of information that helps me connect DataMiner to this product and understand how it works.

Do I have the right connector, or should I try the CISCO Meraki Web API | DataMiner Docs developed for Kordia?

Thanks for your support.

Hi Miguel,

To use the Cisco Meraki Cloud controller, the Web API version of the driver is indeed needed.

If you are only interested in alarms, the 2.0.0.x range can be used. If you are interested in more than just the alarms, the 1.0.1.x range seems like a good fit. I personally don’t have experience with this range, so I don’t know if there is anything Kordia specific in there.

I was able to get the element to work using the CISCO Meraki Web API connector version 1.0.1.2
The TIMEOUTS were due to using an incorrect URL in the element settings. The correct base URL is https://api.meraki.com/
