Hi All

I am trying to configure a ChildrenFilter for a visio, but the services arent in the view, is it possible to filter based on the name of a service within the system and not in that specific view?

Thanks

Ryan

Hi Ryan,

For your use case, I believe there is a workaround:

  • Assign the Visio file that displays the children shapes with the filter in the root view. You can filter by name using the option Name=RegEx
  • Create another Visio file that displays a page from the previous Visio file assigned to the root view. In this new Visio file, you could use the shape data VdxPage (see Making a shape to display a particular page of the current Visio drawing).

Hope it helps.
