Children from multiple Tables?

Hello everyone,

I was trying to create a tile-like view in Visio. Would it be possible to add rows from multiple tables to the same shape using children. Can I create Children shapes from different tables?

You can only use one table as a source for a Children shape.

However, you can work around this by concatenating the rows of multiple tables on the protocol level. This can be achieved by creating a (direct) view table and then use this as a source for your Children shape.
