Hi

to start you need to be able to configure the target system as your active system, which you can only do when you have been added to that DMS in the Cloud.

Next to this the user needs to link his DCP account to a valid DataMiner user. The DataMiner bot will prompt you to do this if this is not the case yet. You can find more information on account linking here.

When you run the "Show commands" in the DataMiner Bot it will only show you Scripts that are located under a folder called "bot".

I hope this answers your question.

So any user for which their email address has been added to the organization/coordination can execute these commands?

Baptiste Pattyn [SLC] [DevOps Advocate] commented 30th January 2023

They need to have a valid DataMiner user linked to their DCP account.

Ok. That means that I can use the security settings to limit their access. Thanks!
