Hello community,
I was wondering if it is possible to do a user mention/Tag when using Teams.TrySendChannelNotification?
Thanks,
Hi Bruno,
see ChatOps Mention User - DataMiner Dojo.
In short: it's currently not possible/supported with Chat Integration.

Hi Bruno,
Planning can still change, but ChatOps is currently not on the radar for feature development in at least the coming half year.
I did add the request to our backlog. Once we've completed higher priority work and create space to work on new ChatOps features, I'll add it to the list.
For now, I'd recommend the workaround to send a private message to a user as mentioned in the other post.
Hi Brecht,
Thank you so much for your reply 🙂
Meanwhile, we’re introducing DataMiner Assistant as new MS Teams solution for DataMiner.
This new solution has multiple benefits, like supporting natural language instead of relying on rigid commands.
See https://docs.dataminer.services/dataminer/Functions/DataMiner_Assistant/Assistant_M365.html for more info.
Full disclosure: today, ChatOps still supports certain capabilities which are not supported by DataMiner Assistant yet (like triggering a conversation from the system to the user, which I believe you’re using in your implementation.)
Don’t worry: we’re doing a soft End Of Life for ChatOps, so your existing implementation will not cease to work. We’re keeping documentation & the services alive to keep it running, but we’re disabling new installations & have shifted development efforts from ChatOps for DataMiner Assistant.
Hence, I will close this feature request.
Stay tuned for more updates about DataMiner Assistant via our usual channels. When the missing capabilities are available, I’d advise you to make the switch to DataMiner Assistant to enjoy all its nifty, modern perks!
Best regards!
Hello Jordy,
I saw that old response, therefore I was wondering if in the meanwhile you already have developed this new feature.
Is this feature, eventually, in your roadmap?
