Certificates for Active Directory connections

Hi,

We are currently troubleshooting some connection issues we are having between DataMiner and Active Directory. And one of the questions that has popped up is:

how does DataMiner use certs for Active Directory connections ?

Would anyone be able to shed some light about this?
