I was today using the Dataminer sizing tool and I have some questions.
What I know:
we have 1333 elements active
and 8Million records per day of average trending
and we have 52000 alarms per day
for the realtime metrics and information events I have no number as we do not offload them.
In the tool I can only enter how many % for the cassandra metrics, but 76% gives me 8 Million records of average metrics.
Is this also per day as for the alarms? If yes I do not understand why the result is 63 Cassandra nodes?
What did I wrong
Hi Ronny,
You are saying you will have roughly 8M records/day of avg trending, in the screenshot you have 8M metrics (parameters or cells) being avg trended. This is probably where the confusion comes in.
