I learned that you can put shapes in visual using "alarmtimelines" option to show the past state of alarms in visio in the past specific time.
You can use history slide bar to speficy the past time.
How about creating visuals reflecting the value of any parameters in the past specific time, by using history slide bar,
or by tying in the past time information into a dialog window ?
Or, even better if you can do shape control using such past parameter value, e.g. rotate/show/hide/fill color control.
I know you can check the parameter value using trending, but it only shows parameter one by one,
and I thought it would be useful in some case if you can also use the visuals with dynamic shape behaviour but with history slider.
Hi Mahito,
Interesting request! We have something related in our backlog already, but this is only about history parameter states. Would it be possible to create a 'New feature' task in Collaboration? In that task you can mention your full user story, so we have a good understanding in which context you want to use this feature.
Via the Collaboration task you can also follow up on the state/progress.
The item that is currently in the backlog is indeed related to what you refer to, but is more specifically in the context of Visio where we will allow to show a ‘history’ state and then later on ‘history’ value of a parameter.
The history state is based on alarm info and as such does not require the parameter to be trended. The history value will depend on having trending enabled for that specific parameter.
I am very much interested to learn about your user story :-). Feel free to share it in this thread, in a collaboration task or on the Feature suggestions page (https://community.dataminer.services/feature-suggestions)
Hi Pieter,
Thank you for your feedback.
https://community.dataminer.services/question/is-it-possible-to-know-the-value-of-a-non-trended-parameter-at-a-moment-in-the-past/
Are you talking about the consideration in the past that was mentioned in the above thread ?
I just realized that this question below is quite the same as mine.
But do you mean my request has something different ?
