It is mentioned in Factory reset tool - DataMiner Dojo that "From DataMiner 10.0.12 onwards, this tool is available on each DMA server ...". Does this mean that the tool shouldn't be used on older systems (e.g. running 9.6.0 main release)?

Hi Michiel,
I've tried this with a SLReset.exe (and its dependencies) from 10.1.0 CU10 and 10.2.0 CU0 on DataMiner 9.6.0 CU22 and found that SLReset simply crashes after stopping the DMA. I don't see any exceptions or events. After upgrading the server to 10.2.1, SLReset works again, so I don't think SLReset is supported on 9.6.0.
Maybe a workaround could be to upgrade before wiping the DMA?

We will evaluate upgrading to later main releases and uninstall/install could probably also do the trick.
