Can Node edge graph can be used to show the connections in elements in dataminer cube?
If yes, then how can we use that?

Yes, it is possible. You could use DCF connections to display connections between elements in a Node Edge graph. There is coming Kata session where there is an example about this use case: DataMiner Connectivity Framework (DCF) - #Kata 45
