It could be possible to configure an IDP solution to create Rack Management views without any configured prefix? Although the prefixes are useful to identify the hierarchy (building, room, aisle, rack, position), under certain circumstances, the resulting name could be lengthy, and difficult to visualize in Cube's breadcrumb header.

If by prefix you are referring to the level prefixes such as LOC, BLD, ... then it is possible to have your facilities view structure without the prefixes.
If, on the other hand, you are referring to the hierarchical structure where each view name reflects the information above then it is currently not supported.
In order to configure the level prefixes, you can go to the DataMiner IDP application and then from there navigate to admin > facilities > view settings.
Here you will find a section to configure the prefixes to use in each level as well as selecting the option "No Prefix" that removes the prefixes altogether.
