Currently the backup job fails with following error:
Backup job had error. Backup-process failed, see logging for details. The system cannot find the file specified
The latest backuplog.txt however dates back months.
So the backup job seems to fail before even updating the backuplog.txt.
How can we find out what file it is looking for?
Normally you should also be able to find something in SLNet.txt when it fails.
Maybe you could also double check if the server has all needed files to take a backup (f.e. TakeBackup.exe, BackupSettings.xml, DataminerBackup.js,...). This is probably the easiest to compare with another agent in the cluster/failover.
Hi Jeroen, Hi Robin,
I compared the 2 Backup folders as Robin suggested. Turns out TakeBackup.exe, BackupSettings.xml, Elasticsearch.Net.dll and Nest.dll was missing.
I've copy pasted the files from our Prime Dataminer Server and the backup is currently executing without errors. Thanks for the hint!
I'm not sure if copy/pasting suffices (apparently it does, as of now) or if I have to adapt one of the copy/pasted files?
Alright thats easy.
Any news on the delayed SET Issue?
glad to hear. I believe it suffices indeed to copy past those missing files.
