As the cluster configuration shares information between the system, such as views, security settings, DMS configuration, etc., we don't recommend to merge as they are different in some ways (e.g. licensing schema and visual skin).

One possible solution is to add a driver that monitors another Skyline Dataminer system retrieving element status and alarms via web services so whenever something happens on the AMS, you can be aware and then go deeper to do any troubleshooting.
