Assigning Alarm template based on service name

162 views1st August 2025alarm template alarms Alarms Services conditional monitoring

Hi All

We are using SRM to ochestrate building services, and we have a lot of test events that create a number of alarms.

Is there a way to stop the alarm template being applied to these services when being orchestrated based on TEST being in the service name? Obviously the alarm template is on the element but i couldn't find an option for service name in the conditional section of the alarm template.

Thanks

Hi Ryan, to clarify do you want to not have the alarms at all for some elements, or do you want that some services are not alarmed?

Hi Jorge,

Exactly same requirement which I'm currently dealing with in my project. Could you please tell me how to not monitor alarms for some services of an element?

Hi Jorge, We want it so some some services are not alarmed, i understand this is done on an element level, but is there a way to exclude the alarming based on a service name

Hi Ryan,

After the service is created you need to edit then and for each element set the 'Maximum severity on included element' to 'Normal', that way the element alarm wont influence the service alarm level.
