I have an SNMP string parameter, that when it passes an empty string, it will be displayed as "OK" and be monitored as Normal. Is there a way to configure the alarm template to threshold non-empty strings containing error messages?
Attached is the tooltip of the parameter.

Hi Chian Hao,
Yes, it is possible to add a string as the threshold in the alarm template.
As you can see in the image, you can enter any string as the threshold, and the alarm will be triggered based on the string that you entered.

As an extra comment, you could also use wildcards when defining the thresholds. This is useful when you don’t know in advance the full error.
This is a common case when monitoring an alarm table from a device. Most of the time you would like to trigger an alarm based on the extra information of the alarm more than the alarm severity defined by the device.
