Are Dataminer licenses transferable?

Hello! I have configured a virtual server as a DM agent and also activated the license. If the virtual server has any issues and i need to kill it, can i use the license i have on another VM?

Hi Roxana,

No, it's not possible to transfer a license to another VM. It will be necessary to contact Skyline to build a new license file for your 'new' VM.

Hi Roxana,

In addition to Koen’s response, we would require the ‘request.lic’ file of the new server to be able to update your license accordingly. This file can be found in the Skyline DataMiner folder.
