Another option is to use a Correlation Rule with an email action to generate notifications.

This can be achieved using the correlation module.

Simply configure a filter for the audio loss alarm . Under the rules you can then choose the action to send an email

An example of this can be found in the docs, note that the example is for a timeout alarm but should be easy to adapt for your use case.
