Hi there,

Are you using a particular Foundation Model (FM) or LLM in your implementation of DataMiner AI?

Hi George,

I assume you refer to the native capabilities in DataMiner (forecasting, change event detection, anomaly detection, pattern detection, incident identification, etc.)?  If so, no there are no particular foundation models or LLMs involved in that – this is all native DataMiner technology developed by our in-house subject matter experts.  The main reason for that being that this is part of the real-time operation of DataMiner, so those capabilities are engraved into the very fabric of DataMiner itself.

In addition to these native capabilities, LLMs and other types of AI products play an increasingly growing role in the overall workflows build with DataMiner.  In those cases, third party AI functions are used to transform data from DataMiner (e.g. create structured bookings from unstructured requests).

Hope this answers your questions.
