A DataMiner Extension Module (DxM) is a service that can be installed, upgraded, and uninstalled without the need to reboot the DataMiner Agent. DxMs are needed for many features, including connecting a DMS to dataminer.services.
- Some DxMs can be installed as part of a DataMiner Cloud Pack. This is required to be able to connect to dataminer.services.
- All available DxMs can be installed individually via the DataMiner Cloud Admin page. Note that this is only possible for DataMiner Systems that are connected to dataminer.services.
Also, from DataMiner 10.3.7/10.4.0 onwards, certain DxMs are even included in DataMiner server upgrade packages.
