As summer wraps up, so does our annual third-party security assessment of DataMiner. Just like last year, we are happy to report great results, reaffirming Skyline’s commitment to DataMiner’s safety. The results of the assessment are now available.
This year’s security assessment report reveals no critical or high-severity issues, ranking DataMiner’s security posture above average compared to the other applications NVISO has assessed in the past two years.
While the report provides only a snapshot of DataMiner’s security posture, it serves as a crucial learning tool for our security team, revealing potential areas that might have been overlooked otherwise.
To gain fresh insights and challenge our systems in new ways, we chose NVISO as our assessment partner this year. Their perspective provides valuable learning opportunities, enabling us to examine DataMiner from a different viewpoint.
It's also worth mentioning that we are already in the process of reviewing the findings and exploring options to address the most pressing ones.
