Do the balloons in alerter have the ability to use the custom colors set in Dataminer.xml?
The alarm color in the data stream is correct but the balloon color is not, as seen in the screenshots below.

It is not possible to use the custom color set defined in DataMiner.xml in SLAlerter.
Regarding the color mismatch between the balloon and the data stream : Do you have this only for this specific alarm or also for other alarms? Do you have this only with the critical severity or also for other severities?

I have checked the code and the custom colors are not used in SLAlerter. At the moment it is not clear to me why you see the red color in the data stream. I have created the same setup as you have and in the data stream the color was yellow for the major alarms.

Hi Steve, I think your Dummy Parameter 08 changed severity first to Major and then critical, thus showing a major alarm popup first. After you would close this major alarm pop-up, probably the critical alarm should be shown. Also is your client-side filtering enabled?
Regarding your question about custom colors, this is currently not possible, I think.
No escalation is being used currently. Yes I am using the built in client side filtering.
I have custom color for all Major and all Minor as those are the two severities we use. Major is now red and Minor is yellow.
