The Cisco Manager connector supports a wide range of Cisco catalyst switches including the Cisco 2960. You can find additional details in this Dojo question as well.

I have deployed the Cisco Catalyst 29XX series switches using the Cisco Manger.
The Cisco Manager will support the Cisco 2960. I actually am monitoring a 2960 in a lab.
