Elastic Node Servers on different time zone as DMS Cluster

Hello Dojo,

We have an elastic cluster where all 3 Elastic servers are on PST time, while the entire Dataminer cluster is on EST. (3 hour time difference) We are wondering if this poses any potential issues.

Ryan,

While the time zone where the servers are located does not matter, it is recommended that all servers in the cluster (DataMiner, general database, and indexing engine) are using a synchronized time configuration (NTP). Another important aspect is that the latency between the clusters should be low (<~50ms). Please see DataMiner Compute Requirements - DataMiner Dojo.
