Hi Community,
I have a system where the DataMiner Cube logging shows the following warning:
An external application attached to Cube using the Microsoft UI Automation framework. This will have a negative impact on performance and memory usage.
Is there a way to identify which process is attaching to Cube with the UI Automation framework?
This happens at each login, even when I’m not working on any visuals.
Unfortunately, there is no way for Cube to know which process this is.
You can try killing suspicious software and see if you still get that warning.
If you have a touch screen, it could be TabTip.exe.
Other tools that we know that do this are screen readers, Ranorex and other UI automation/testing software.
If you don't notice the performance impact, there's no need to worry about this warning message.
Is this showing occasionally or at each log-in?
Could it be coming up while doing online visio editing from that client?
