Increase (A lot) of Process SL_LogCollector

Good Morning,

Yesterday we reboot a dataminer server, and after that we perceive a increase of threads on the process SL_LogCollector (Actually the process had 32780 threads), do you know if we can delete/stop that process without any inconvenient on the DMA App?

Regards

Hey Javier,

SL_LogCollector is a support tool only needed when you try and collect dumps or logging to debug an issue on the system. The only reason to run it in the background like that would be to capture a certain process spiking in memory, or to capture the crash of a process. For more info see the Dojo article

Since the tool is meant for troubleshooting purposes, closing it will not impact the DMA. It can always be opened when you need to collect data for troubleshooting.

This issue should been fixed with https://community.dataminer.services/documentation/dataminer-v10-1-0-release-notes/#30203
