Unexpected alarm state on exception value

There are two columns (Real Index) with unexpected alarm values. There are no thresholds set in the alarm template. The values that are an exception (N/A) are alarmed.

The version used is 10.0 CU18.

How is it possible that these values are alarmed?

Hi,

This behavior is as intended and is described in RN1620 (introduced in DataMiner version 5.0.1). That release note states: "When having a parameter with exception value and that exception value is not specified in the alarmtemplate, then the exception value should be interpreted as normal".

So this is the same behavior as you would have filled in "N/A" in the normal severity in the alarm template.
