The server CPU specification has a passmark score >10k and 16 cores.

Is this 16 cores on one CPU or across multiple CPUs.

Can you suggest CPUs that would meet this specification preferably in HPE servers

Hi Neil,

The 16 cores can be on one or multiple CPUs, this doesn't really matter for DataMiner.

Note also that we talk about logical cores (I'll see if we can make this clearer in our documentation). If the CPU has hyper-treading, you will have more logical cores vs physical cores.

A typical example of a CPU you can use today in an HPE server is the Xeon Silver 4210R. It has a passmark score of nearly 15k, and it has 20 threads.
