Visual Overview – ‘Show’ as subshape in an ‘Element’ group in a service visual overview

I have a service visual overview containing a group shape with ‘Element’ shape data that has the alias of one of the elements in that service as value.

In that group I’d like to have a few ‘Show’ shapes, that I’d like to be about that element. However, I’m not sure about the syntax for linking the element from that group shape to the Show objects.

When I don’t work with Visio groups, I can have a shape with both ‘Element’ and ‘Show’ shape data, and then I can use the asterisk in the Show shape data to link it to the alias.
The downside of that approach is that it makes a server connection for each of these shapes.

Show    <A>-A|*|PARAMETER:81|=0
Element   ELEMENT ALIAS

I’d like to bundle the Show shapes in one Element shape for that reason.
But it doesn’t work when I do this.
If it is possible, what is the correct syntax?

If you make sure following shape data is present on the sub-shape, it should work:

Field: Element

Value: *

Alternatively, if you want to completely get rid of the ‘Element’ shape data on the sub-shape, you can add the following on that shape:

Field: Options

Value: StartResolvingFromParent
