DataMiner.services Monitoring app – Monitoring only

94 views2 days agoMonitoring app user account

The Monitoring app rights are currently linked to the view permissions of the users in Cube. However, if we require read‑only access in the Monitoring app but read & write access within Cube, how can this be achieved? We want to avoid creating multiple user accounts.

At present, dataminer.services provides three roles (Owner, Admin, and Member). Is it possible to create an additional Read‑only role, per Organisation and per cluster?

Hi Paul,

dataminer.services roles/permissions can only grant remote access to the app/cube, while the (read/write) permissions of the (linked or logged in) account in DataMiner are still applied in the app/cube (remotely and local).

I'll let it open for someone else to reply with more details about the account permissions in DataMiner.
