New Element Created but the Element is in Timeout

Hello Team,

I have created 2 new elements.. I have selected Protocol & Alarm Template however Element is Created but still the Elements are in Timeout State.

I have tried changing the state of the Element but still its the same.

Kindly help me out for the same

Hi Roshan,

If the elements are in timeout, it usually means that they are failing to communicate with the devices.

You can confirm this by using Stream Viewer | DataMiner Docs. This tool allows you to check the communication between DataMiner and the devices.

From there, you can start troubleshooting if all the settings in your element are correct or if there is a firewall in place that could prevent communication.
