Hi everyone, I need to monitor the PTP of the Cisco Nexus 9k SW but I'm having trouble. Protocol version 1.0.3.4 works without problems but doesn't have the PTP part. I'm trying the latest protocol version (version 3.0.7.3) and I can't get it.
DMA version:
SW Nexus version
Feature nxapi enable
sandbox using login
The dataminer is on the same VLAN as the Cisco Nexus.
I can log in to this user via SSH and NX API.
I understand that I need to log in (I'm not sure if it's SSH or NX API) to get the PTP. Is that correct?
If so, how do I log in?
Hi Kaoi,
In may case, I added following config for NXAPI.
feature nxapi
nxapi http port 80
nxapi use-vrf default
And also, have you tried manual polling by clicking button on Polling table in Polling Configuration page?
Hi Kaio,
Can you have a look at the streamviewer (more details here) and the element log file (more details here) and share if there are any errors reported there?
I was unsure about version 9.3(3), so I grabbed another software version 9.3(11) specifically for this purpose. I couldn't make any progress.
Interestingly, using this protocol version (3.0.7.3), I can't get SNMP readings with the same community. But I can with version 1.0.3.4.
I'm stuck. What else should I check? What information do I need?
