PDF report based on dashboard has empty components

Dear community,

I have a web dashboard that needs to be periodically sent to a recipients as a PDF. I have a task in the scheduler that sends this PDF report.

The dashboard contains components (tables, charts) that take a while (10 to 40 seconds) to get populated with data. This seems to be causing the generated PDF being havening the empty components – not enough time is given to pull and populate the data.

Note, there’s generally the same problem with the publicly available dashboard “Alarm Report” from catalog that my dashboard is based on.

We have 10.4.0 CU5. We are about to upgrade to 10.5 but wanted to migrate the old reports to WEB dashboards before doing so.

Hi Miloš,

I’m not sure what could be going wrong here on the config side of the PDF generation. I suggest you contact tech support with this issue. They will forward it to the correct team to investigate further.
