Hi all,
A recent upgrade happened to a system (10.4.0 CU9) and the soft-launch option for SnmpPollingSnmpPlusPlusOnly was enabled.
Is it possible to validate that the system is effectively using SNMP++ instead of WinSNMP?
Thanks.
At first sight it does not look something that gets logged in the SNMP related logging nor can be deduced based on other logging.
However, we can guarantee that if SLNet correctly shows the option as enabled that the SLSNMPManager process is correctly configured and will be effectively not using WinSNMP anymore to do the SNMP polling.
You can validate this by using the SLNetClientTest to connect to the agent and then send the GetSoftLaunchConfigMessage which will list all configured soft-launch options.
