Hi,

When we receive a trap, in the trap receiver qaction we are updating a table with the alarm value.

is it possible to create the alarm with the timestamp we receive in the trap?

Hi Pedro,

In this case, the best approach is to update the ‘Root Time’ column rather than ‘Time’ column. In that way a user can distinguish between:

  • When the alarm was raised in the DMA
  • When the event was triggered from the device

In order to set the root time with a timestamp you will need to use history sets. See the answer from this question for additional information.

Hope it helps.
