Which dll version does DataMiner use for central db offloading?
Is it the 6.9.12.0 version from the Files and Files\64 folder?
Can this be upgraded to the latest version?
When upgrading the central db to the latest version, the offloading doesn’t work anymore.

I found following versions on the system:

  • ProtocolScripts folder:  1.0.10.1
  • Tools\QADeviceSimulator:   8.0.30.0
  • Files and Files\64:  6.9.12.0
  • Tools\  : 6.9.12.0

In case you upgraded to MySQL 8.0, please note the remark on Setting up an offload database | DataMiner Docs regarding setting the local_infile variable to 1. Can you try this?

I’ll check with the persons in charge of the central db

Hi Jeroen,

Which dll version does DataMiner use for central db offloading?
Is it the 6.9.12.0 version from the Files and Files\64 folder?

As far as I know this is the case. We requested the updated DLL version a few years ago to be able to connect remotely to MySQL databases using TLSv1.2 encryption.

In case an update is required, a new software feature task should be created
