Hello,
I am looking to update a parameter from a button press in a visio view but it appears that the execute is not respecting the NoConfirmation option and I am seeing a popup where I should enter the value
The data I am using:
Set|[this Element]|200|TestValue|NoConfirmation
There is no other data set on the shape. I have been following information as found on https://docs.dataminer.services/user-guide/Basic_Functionality/Visio/linking_shapes/Linking_a_shape_to_a_SET_command.html#example page
Many thanks as always!
Oliver

Hi Oliver,
I was able to reproduce the behavior that you describe when I try to set the value of the parameter using a different data type. For example, if the parameter that I plan to set is a numeric one and the value in the shape data is a string value, the value will not be accepted and the a popup will be displayed.
Could it be the case that you are trying to set a discrete parameter? If this is the case, you will need to use the numeric value instead of the displayed value.
